Mrs Manajri NIRULA  – New Delhi,  India

MANJARI NIRULA is  Vice-President of Crafts Council of India, President of Delhi Crafts Council  and member of the Government of India Committee for the selection of  Master craft persons. She has been coordinating  the UNESCO Award of Excellence Programme for South Asia since 2004 and has  served on the International Jury for this Award in South East Asia and Central Asia. She was an active member of the Planning  Committee for the International Natural Dyes Symposium in 2006. Manjari Nirula  has a long experience with the revival of languishing crafts, the marketing of  craft products and  the participation of  craftpersons in regional and international fairs (Santa Fe Folk Art Market,  California Gift Show, Maison & Objet…). She has coordinated the publication of monographs on artisans  and exhibition catalogues.
